Alumni Class Pages

             The Class of 2002
The Citadel is responsible for shaping you into the person that you are today.  Please make an annual gift in support of your alma mater.

Asof August 31, 2014, only 41 of our classmates have made a gift to The Citadel. We have over 300 solicitable addresses for our class and only slightly more than 10% have given.

In case you have forgotten how much good The Citadel does, here are a few recent achievements from U.S News and World Report. The Citadel again is the #1 Public College in the South that grants a master’s degree. We had the highest score of all public colleges in the country and more of our alumni give to the college than any other public or private college in our category. We are recognized as the #3 Best Value in the South, and the #23 Undergraduate Engineering program for colleges without a doctorate. These achievements are simply not possible without the generous support of all alumni.

As of August, 46% of faculty and staff have made a gift to the college. Many of these individuals are not alumni, yet they participate at a much higher rate than even our graduates do.

The Citadel also continues to be in the international spotlight:Our Regimental Band and Pipes have been invited back to the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in August 2015. We are the only group in the United States asked to attend. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the college on the world stage and requires a significant investment for the college.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to Eric or James if you have any questions or concerns.  We love hearing from each of you and look forward to sharing even more great news about The Citadel if you have the time. Thank you, inadvance, for your generous gift to support The Citadel.
