Parent Philanthropy Council
Parent Philanthropy Council members are a special group of parents who share their time and energy with The Citadel Foundation's Parent Philanthropy Program by serving as volunteers, hosting events, setting goals and asking fellow parents to participate by supporting one of The Citadel Parent Philanthropy Program Priorities.
Members of the Parent Philanthropy Council serve as a liaison between parents of cadets and The Citadel Foundation. The responsibilities and expectations of the Parent Philanthropy Council include serving up to five years on the council and on one of the three committees (time, talent and treasure), host events in their area, and meet twice a year to discuss the progress of the parent philanthropy program.
Parent Philanthropy Council members share a love for The Citadel and their commitment to ensuring the excellence of a Citadel education is crucial to the Long Gray Line. If you would like to become involved with The Parent Philanthropy Council or for more information, please contact Riviere Propst, Development Officer for Reunion and Annual Giving, at 843-953-6079 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
